This is the best Cuban and Spanish food in town! The place looks the same as 40 years ago but don't let that fool you it's the best place to get a good chicken soup and everything thing else!

It is very clear that this place is a local favorite. It was so pleasant to see the neighbors run into each other and share their life stories. The restaurant owner is friends with many regulars that come to this place. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and Cafe' con Leche for lunch. The Cuban sandwich is made in the traditional style way, and the Cafe' con Leche is ooh-so-strong, so-good; just the way I like it. I hope this place continues to serve many locals as a place to meet, eat their favorite food, and share many memories here.

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Really delicious Cuban food right here!
I dined on grilled fish with two sides consisting of yellow rice & black bean soup. Deee-li-cious (too bad there isn't virtual tasting) as you can see from the photo. Embibed the sweet tooth with a small serving of rice pudding sprinkled with cinnamon (sorry, no photo--I gobbled it up before I thought of capturing its' image to post).
Atmosphere is casual--you'll feel like you're in a friends' kitchen and their grandma is cooking! -

Food is ok, people are very nice but the portions are very small. For Cuban food, it's pricey for the small amounts they give you compared to other Cuban spots in Tampa.

Food was cheap both in price and quality and ok at best.
Probably more of a local thing than a place to seek out and no public restrooms?? Or at least that's what we were told so either they didn't understand the question or didn't have bathrooms??
Atmosphere is like grandmas living room, very 70's
